Step outside Ten Mallorca and you're in the heart of one of Mallorca's most authentic villages. Once a royal seat and an important centre of the island, Sineu is full of character, with winding cobbled streets, beautiful old buildings and lively little squares.
Within a two-minute walk of the hotel, you'll find a good choice of restaurants, cafés and bars, from traditional Mallorcan cooking to informal pizza. Every Wednesday, the village comes alive with Mallorca's oldest weekly market, a tradition dating back to 1306, with stalls selling everything from fresh local produce to crafts and clothing.
During the summer months, the village square becomes the place to be, with live music, dancing and locals gathering for drinks long into the warm evenings. September brings the popular night market, another great excuse to wander into town and soak up the atmosphere.
The best thing about Sineu? It's a real, working Mallorcan village, not somewhere created for tourists. Pull up a chair, order a glass of wine and enjoy watching village life go by. And when you're ready to head home, Ten Mallorca is just a couple of minutes away.

One of the joys of staying at Ten Mallorca is our location right in the centre of the island. With Sineu's train station just a short walk away and easy road connections in every direction, you're perfectly placed to explore Mallorca's wonderful restaurant scene. And if you'd rather enjoy another glass of wine than worry about driving, we're happy to help with restaurant reservations and arranging taxis.
We have plenty of favourites we'd love to share. Closer to home, there's Brut in Llubí, just the next village along, and Miceli in Selva. Further afield, we love Molico, Marc Fosh, Vandal, DINS Santi Taura and Daica – each offering something a little different, from creative contemporary cooking to wonderful interpretations of local ingredients.

One of the best things about staying in the heart of Mallorca is having the whole island to explore, with the nearest beaches just a 25-minute drive from Ten Mallorca.
From secluded little calas with crystal-clear turquoise water to long stretches of golden sand, there's a beach for every mood. Pack a picnic and discover somewhere off the beaten track, spend a lazy afternoon swimming and sunbathing, or find a quiet rocky cove where the only soundtrack is the sea.
If you fancy something a little livelier, Mallorca has plenty of fabulous beach clubs, waterfront restaurants, boat trips and water sports. Whether you're after complete peace and quiet or a long lunch with your feet in the sand, the choice is yours.
